Unique New Patient Experience

New patients get a full 1.5 hours with Dr. Visscher and a Hygienist to discuss their oral health and goals. If more exam time is required then we will schedule a complimentary second visit.

What to Expect

Comprehensive Exam

Meet one to one with Dr. Visscher and a hygienist for a 1.5 hour cleaning, exam and consultation. Dr. Visscher will learn about your personal goals for your oral health and together you will create a custom treatment plan. We take digital photos of your mouth so that you can see what we see, and you can make decisions with us as part of your care team!

Dental X-rays

Adhering to the highest standards of dental care, during our new patient exam we take a full mouth series of digital x-rays (including panoramic x-rays) that aid us as we look for dental disease.

Thorough Dental Cleaning

We want you to relax as our skilled registered dental hygienists provide a thorough dental cleaning to help get your mouth healthy, and your smile beautiful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What payment options do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and most dental insurances. We don't want finances to be an obstacle to getting high quality dental care, and so if you need financial assistance, we offer Care Credit which provides no interest payment options up to 12 months.

Do you accept my insurance?

Dr. Visscher and his team are in-network for Delta Dental Premier, United Healthcare, Aetna, Sunlife and United Concordia. However, we will work with any PPO insurance plan, please call us to discuss your plan in detail.

Why do I need x-rays as a new patient?

Dental x-rays are a safe way to diagnose disease and injury of the teeth and gums, as well as help in treatment planning. As a new patient, a full series of X-rays will allow us to assess your current oral health and establish a baseline going forward. X-rays allow us to maintain your dental health through prevention.

Is Golden Peak Dental privately owned?

Yes, Golden Peak Dental is solely owned by Dr. Brandon Visscher and operated by himself and his skilled team!
